At the end of 2018, the frescoes by artist Santi Moix, established in New York, on the walls of the village church of Saurí, were inaugurated in Pallars Sobirà. The project unites the tradition of the Catalan Romanesque -identified with fresco painting- with a contemporary and innovative aesthetic.
As the village is at the end of the road, Moix has included the text of J. V. Foix «Els bells camins es multipliquen allà on creieu que acaba la carretera».
