Exhibition brochure Art i paraula

Curated by Fina Duran, Jesús Galdón and Martina Morittu, a brochure has just been published for the exhibition that toured throughout Catalonia Art i paraula, where artists and poets collaborate. More than an exhibition, it is an open dialogue between two forms of creation that share the same soul. The result is a living network of interpretations, sensations and complicity.

In the case of J. V. Foix, it is the artist Jordi Tolosa who has been inspired by his poetic work.

In September, the illustrations that the Olot artist Quim Domene has made for the artist’s book On he deixat les claus… with the poems of J. V. Foix will be presented in Montpellier. It is a bilingual French-Catalan edition published by Edicions Paraules and translated by Boris Monneau. The book has had the collaboration of the Institut Ramon Llull.

Date and time of the presentation: September 5 at 6:00 p.m.
Place: Galerie Samira Cambie, 16, rue Saint Firmin, Montpellier

The University of Venice has published the book The Poetry Research of J. V. Foix, by Sergi Castellà Martínez, which offers an exhaustive interpretation of the literary and journalistic work of J. V. Foix, one of the most original voices of the Iberian avant-garde, and which focuses on his poetics and the communication of knowledge. From a young age, the experimental writer of prose poems described himself as a “researcher in poetry”.

The book is currently fully accessible online.

In “Lectures per a la vida”, which is part of the “Fils de ciutat” program, the service podcasts of Ràdio Sabadell that collect spaces of dissemination and entertainment, a podcast was dedicated to J. V. Foix. The program is broadcast on Wednesdays at 12 or 1 p.m.
The selection of texts and commentary are by Anton Carbonell, and the readings are by Montserrat Cassanyes and Joan Sellent.
