An exhibition on the role of the digital newspaper Vilaweb in our country has been inaugurated at the Palau Robert until September 25. The technological revolution represented by the Internet and new technologies have led to revolutions in many other fields with consequences for politics and the media.

J. V. Foix and the newspaper La Publicidad where he worked from 1922 to 1936 has been one of the referents of Vilaweb.

Journalist Albert Murillo, author of the blog Espacio sonante, announced that he had a tape with the recording of J. V. Foix‘s speech on receiving the Medalla d’Or of Barcelona City Council.
The tape is a legacy of journalist Salvador Escamilla i Foix recites three poems: «No pas l’atzar», «Sé un poble lluny de Provença» and, «Ho sap tothom, i és profecia»..

Le 26 avril, la FNEC a célébré à l’Auditorium de l’Université de Barcelone le 90e anniversaire de la création de la Federació Nacional d’Estudiants de Catalunya, un syndicat d’étudiants nationaliste transversal. J. V. Foix en est le président d’honneur.
«Els estudiants, ultra estudiar, han d’esdevenir activistes d’allò que suposa la revitalització de la nostra cultura i l’elevació social i política del País», said Foix.

On April 22, after two years of pandemic, the celebration of Sant Jordi has resumed at the Poeta Foix school with the celebration, in the morning, of the traditional Jocs Florals (Floral Games). This year all the classes took part as a group and the prizes were collective.

After dancing for a while in the courtyard, different workshops were held in the classrooms and in the afternoon there were traditional games and a live rumba group performance.

A course consisting of reading some poetic texts by Verdaguer, Alcover, Maragall, Carner, Sagarra, Espriu, Palau i Fabre, Marçal and J. V. Foix begins on April 25 at the University of Barcelona, by the university professor and editor of Fragmenta Ignasi Moreta.

The Associació Joan Manén organizes a recital for voice and piano, by the mezzo Marta Valero and the pianist Daniel Blanch</ a>. They will present a selection from the album Màgic moment, edited by Columna Musica, with songs by Mercè Torrents about poems, among others, by J. V. Foix. The concert will be presented by Albert Ferrer Flamerich.

In this book Clara Ponsatí chronicles her life and academic career and her political commitment over the years, as well as the first-hand account of a decisive moment of recent history.
The title «Molts i ningú» (Many and No One) is part of a verse by J. V. Foix, who had been a friend of Ponsatí’s uncle since childhood, the Noucentista painter Josep Obiols.

Unesco declared March 21 World Poetry Day. This year, Gabriel Ferrater’s poem “Si puc” has been chosen to commemorate the centenary of his birth and the fiftieth anniversary of his death.ages.

A new volume of the Història de la Literatura Catalana has already been published, covering from 1922 to 1959, directed by Jordi Marrugat and Jordi Castellanos. J. V. Foix is ​​studied by the professor of literature and author of the thesis “Del diari 1918”, Joan R. Veny-Mesquida.
This is the seventh volume of the eight planned, which constitute a collective work that represents the current academic knowledge of the subject.
