Foix published in the first issue of the same journal in 1924, as well as an unpublished text of his about Josep Pla introduced by Xavier Pla: «Elogi de la prosa poètica. un text inèdit de J. V. Foix sobre Josep Pla de l’any 1953», p. 187-198.

Diumenge 4 de febrer, a la Basílica de Santa Maria, de Castelló d’Empúries, el Cor i l’Orquestra de l’Empordà, dirigits per Carles Coll i Costa i Montserrat Bonet, interpretaran la cantata de Narcís Bonet inspirada en el poema «Ho sap tothom, i és profecia», de J. V. Foix i el Rèquiem de Mozart.

With this article in Els Marges, Lluís Cabré and Sílvia Coll-Vinent intend to demonstrate that J. V. Foix is the author of the Catalan translations, published anonimously in 1927, of two critical texts by T. S. Eliot and the third section of The Waste Land.

The cover of no. 1 of L’esprit containing the translation by Jean de Menasce (La terre mis à nu) of The Waste Land, by T. S. Eliot, has been found in the archives of the Fundació J. V. Foix. For the translation of this French version by J. V. Foix, see the article.

On December the 26th, at 12 a.m., the Associació d’amics de Sant Martí Xic, at Sant Hipòlit del Voldregà, will read Foix‘s Christmas poems.

In collaboration with the Càtedra Màrius Torres and Pagès Editors, this year we publish a dossier that includes the facsimile of the greeting cards that J. V. Foix sent to his friends between 1948 and 1976.

Each of them contains a poem by Foix and an illustration by artists such as Dalí, Miró, Tàpies, Ponç or Amat. The dossier also includes an introduction by Jordi Cerdà and a CD with ten of Foix’s poems recited by himself.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of J. V. Foix‘s death, the journalist Salvador Redó has published an article in Regió 7 newspaper where he writes about the poet’s roots in Manresa.
